Ben Brashen
President & CEO
CardTapp wouldn’t be what it is today without Ben’s sales leadership or his challenges to rapidly innovate, test, and iterate on new products and features. Before serving as President and CEO of CardTapp, Ben had a successful mortgage career and a media company where he produced and hosted radio, including Richard Sherman’s Celebrity Softball Game. Ben lives in Kirkland, WA with his wife and two children who are all very big Seahawks fans.

Dustin Swisstack
Chief Technology Officer
Dustin came to CardTapp from ACT! where he was the Development Director and Lead Software Architect. While at ACT! he designed, developed, and led development teams on over 50 product releases including desktop, mobile, localized, and web products. He’s responsible for every technical working function of the CardTapp app family, leveraging over 20 years of web and app development experience. When Dustin’s not coding, he’s on the ice either playing or coaching ice hockey. He lives in Mukilteo with his wife and kids.

Sean Woody
Chief Financial Officer
Sean joined CardTapp as the Chief Financial Officer in October 2019. He leads the accounting and finance team in supporting operations and financial reporting. He also co-develops strategy with other executives to meet CardTapp’s aggressive growth goals. Sean’s an experienced executive having held roles as a CEO and COO outside the software industry. He served in the United States Marine Corps and is a highly decorated veteran of the Gulf War. Outside of work, Sean enjoys adventure and the outdoors. He’s visited 46 of the 50 states, a number of countries, and looks for excuses to go hiking.

Mike Crill
Board Member
Mike has sat on over 30 boards for public and private companies and advised over 100 startups. As an advisor, Mike focuses on funding strategy, corporate governance, go-to-market strategy, board and executive compensation, and contracts. He began his work in startups as a CFO where he served over 75 companies in that capacity. In his current role, Mike manages Atlas, the nation’s largest venture accelerator and advises startups.

Ian Morris
Advisory Board Member
Ian is a seasoned chief executive, board member, and strategic advisor with a track record of creating high growth, high performance internet and SaaS businesses. As a CEO, he has delivered high returns for investors through both ends of the business cycle. With 9 years experience in managing a public company board, Ian has had successful fundraising efforts including an 18x over-subscribed IPO, selling Market Leader (NASDAQ: LEDR) for $380m.

Gary Flake
Advisory Board Member
Gary is the former CTO of Search & Data Science at Salesforce, which bought Clipboard, Inc., of which he was the founder and CEO. Gary received his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and then went on to receive his PhD from the University of Maryland. Gary currently resides in Seattle, WA and serves as an advisory board member.

Edward Yim
Advisory Board Member
Edward Yim is the founder and CEO of Full Beaker Inc. and is an active angel investor. He has advised and invested in more than 15 companies in the last few years, including Cheezburger (icanhascheeseburger.com, failblog.org, failbook.com), Minted.com, Bonanza.com and Heatmax (acquired by Kobayashi Pharm Co Ltd) and others. He has been a board member for several companies including Cheezeburger, Minted.com, Capability Healthcare, and ClassifiedAds.com. Edward also serves as a Tech Stars mentor to early stage technology companies in the Seattle area. Edward received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
